01 · Define the first workflow
Choose a complete process to introduce first. Write down the trigger, the people involved, the records created and the review that confirms completion.
02 · Prepare your information
Identify your source records. Remove duplicates, resolve missing information and retain original copies. Agree an import format and who validates the result.
03 · Set up people and responsibilities
List users and their operational roles. Confirm access boundaries, the administrator and who can approve important changes.
04 · Walk through an end-to-end example
Use an anonymised working example. Check the original transaction, the records it updates, the resulting report and any exceptions that require follow-up.
05 · Train, launch and review
Give users time to practise. Agree where questions go, how issues are recorded and when the first operating cycle will be reviewed.
